Experience Summary

Mr. Barron has more than 10 years of construction engineering experience ranging from field work (electrical, HVAC, and power plants) to detailed engineering design reviews. He has helped design HVAC and electrical systems for numerous buildings while providing technical assistance through review of requests for information and project submittals. Mr. Barron also has primavera scheduling and cost estimating experience that has enhanced his understanding of project lifecycles. Mr. Barron just recently graduated from Officer Training School and is a 2d Lt in the United States Air Force Reserves.

Professional Highlights

·         Currently managing (12) Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricant (POL) projects for various Air Force Bases within the continental U.S. totaling around $14M.  Reviewing submittals, costing reports, RFI’s, and final reports to ensure compliance to applicable codes.

·         Performed over 20 design and constructability reviews for multiple projects for the U.S. Air Force. Provided electrical and mechanical engineering input and schedule integration recommendations to ensure that scopes of work were clear and consistent with mission objectives.

·         As a Project Manager: Marketed, proposed, and delivered numerous electrical projects. Examples were subcontracts for electrical construction on the U.S. Navy Base in Kingsville, TX, a 50,000 sq. ft. middle school addition, and a new 20,000 sq. ft. medical office building.

·         As an Execution Planner: Provided complex written execution plans for multiple power plant projects within the U.S. Coordinated P6 scheduling, cost estimating, and project controls activities for 4 years while designing visual plans that emphasized the plan of construction. Presented and moderated discussions and presentations of the plan to engineering, procurement, and construction stakeholders.

·         Provided knowledge and consultation as a technical engineer to owners for questions, system applications, alternatives, installation, operation, and maintenance issues with financial and performance-based considerations. Designed numerous HVAC systems which included chillers, boilers, air handlers, and control systems for high-rise buildings and schools.
